Mount-It! TV mantel mount was designed to solve the typical problem of installing TVs on top of a fireplace - the TV is just too high when viewed from a couch. Solution to this problem is to lower the TV down for when it is viewed. 31.5 inch height adjustment allows the TV to be pulled down to a more comfortable viewing height. When not in use, the TV can be put back up over the fireplace.

The heart of the height adjustment capability is the gas spring mechanism that allows the TV to cantilever up and down. Gas spring mechanism built into the mount offers a countebalance to the weight of the TV, allowing it to be lowered and raised with the touch of a finger. The tension can be adjusted to suit heavier or lighter TVs.

In addition to height adjustment, this mount can also tilt (3 degrees up and 15 degrees down) to reduce glare and swivel (15 degrees left and right) to perfectly align it with the viewers line of sight. You can also roate it 5 degrees to perfectly align it after installation.

Our mount is universal and will fit TVs from 40 to 70 inches. Just check the bolt hole pattern behind your TV or refer to the user manual to ensure your TV has a standard VESA pattern of 200x200, 300x300, 400x200, 400x400, 600x400, 600x600, 700x400, and 800x600 bolt hole patterns. If your TV has bolt holes located a maximum of 32 inches wide and 24 inches high, this mount will fit your TV.

Carrying capacity of 154 lbs ensures even the largest TVs will be safely installed on the wall. We have tested it multiple times this rated load for your peace of mind.
