Majesty palm tree (Ravenea rivularis) is a low maintenance palm plant that adds classic good looks to indoor and outdoor spaces. They prefer living in shade out of direct sunlight. Unlike most palms, which we typically think of as drought tolerant, majesty palm tree is actually native to wet areas in Madagascar. No matter where you're growing one, keep it well watered to ensure it stays happy. In fact, you can even grow a majesty palm at the edge of a pond or water garden (as long as its roots doesn't stay constantly submerged) These entertaining plants do well in small containers staying root bound.
