You can steam food in a casserole without having it touch the water. With the stand and basket I can cook one food (rice, for instance) in water and steam vegetables or fish above it.

Great for making hard boiled eggs, they stay put and don't roll around, conveniently cooks 1 to 7 eggs in a few minutes

1. The steam basket rack set are dishwasher safe but hand drying is recommended for a spotless shine. it is important to dry it promptly so that spotting, streaking, discoloration, or corrosion does not occur
2. Do not use steel wool, bleach or strong abrasive cleaners.
