KatTech rods use a composite blank using a combination of 24T graphite and linear S-Glass which means these rods are incredibly light yet deliver tournament winning performance, strength and lifting power. We use only Fuji ECS and DPS reinforced reel seats on both the casting and spinning models so that you never have to worry about your reel coming loose even under the toughest conditions and biggest fish. Casting models include power triggers that improve leverage and give you more control over hard fighting fish.

Our custom rubber cork handles are slip resistant, extremely durable and very comfortable for all day fishing. This handle material also makes it extremely easy to remove the handles from rod holders when fishing from a boat. Each handle has an oversized fighting butt that provides for additional leverage and comfort when fighting big fish.

All rods feature a bright, chartreuse strike tip for easy bite recognition in low light conditions and quickly alerts you to even the lightest bites, so you never miss a fish.
