How To Use

Moisture Test
Push switch to the left "MOIST". Insert probe deeply into soil reaching root level.Keep probe close to plant.
Values between 1 and 3 (red part) indicate that the plant needs to be watered;
Values between 4 and 7 (green part) indicate that moisture of plant is suitable;
Values between 8 and 10 (blue part) indicate that the soil is too wet.

Light Test
Push switch to the center "LIGHT". Facing the light source, hold the meter next to the plant.
Avoid touching sensing element located underneath gauge.
The measuring range is 0-2000 lumens. The larger the value, the stronger the light.
Please decide whether to shade it according to the plant species.

Soil PH Test
Push the switch to the right "PH". Insert probe deeply into soil.
A pH reading greater than 7 is alkaline, a reading less than 7 is acidic.
Most indoor plants prefer a slightly acidic soil with a pH between 6.5 and 7.

Active Tips

1. Don't insert the probe against stone or very hard soil in case to damage the probe
2. Please wipe and clean the probe after each time using
3. Don't leave the meter in the soil for a long time
4. Designed for testing soil, don't use it to test pure water or other liquids
5.The indicator will not move If the soil is too dry, please water the plant first and test again later
6.The probe should be inserted in the soil about 6 inch or more than 2/3 part(about 15cm) ,the recommended waiting time for reading is around 3 to 5 minutes.
