Our Healincomfort post-surgical drain pouch kit was developed with patients in mind by a breast cancer mastectomy patient, along with other post-operative adaptive clothing options. These two aprons are intended to be worn around the waist and are both washable. If it's more comfortable for you, these can also be tied behind the neck. Each accommodates 4 drains. The dry pouch we call our Helping Hands pouch because movement after your surgery is somewhat limited and painful. This pouch will hold your drains, and the TV changer, cell phone or small I-Pad. Keeping these most often used items close to you will make your recovery much easier. If you've had other surgeries, you'll also find that having these items close to you will be far less painful than reaching out to a table where moving may pull stitches and hurt your incision. The material is a very soft polyester and launders nicely. Many of our customers sleep in this because it's soft and flat, unlike many other drain holders which are more rigidly made, making them clumsy in bed.
