Easy to cut to length - 1. Measure the difference between your existing rod and the new one (X length) 2. Pull the last tube far enough to grasp the cord 4. Clamp the cord between tubes 5. Pull the end cap out & untie the cord from the end cap 6. Use tubing cutter to cut X length off the tube and slide it off the end of the elastic cord 7. Measure X length from the end of the cord and cut it 8. Tie the cord back onto the end cap 9. Unclamp the cord and that's it
