ISVX-451 INTRINSICALLY SAFE TWO WAY RADIO The industrial grade ISVX-451 maximizes worker up time with expanded safety applications and convenient built-in features designed for heavy duty use. As with all VX Series radios, the VX-451 includes built-in Emergency and Lone Worker alerts. Emergency notification is user-initiated with a press of a button for the radio to switch to a designated channel and send and alert for help. Lone Worker mode is a built-in timer that requires the user to reset at a a predetermined interval. If not reset, the radio will automatically switch to Emergency mode to alert help. Includes Channel Announcement which loudly states the channel description to simplify changing channels when focused on other tasks simultaneously. In addition, the VX-450 Series features voice activation (VOX) for hands free operation. For large job sites the VX-450 series is designed with built-in selective signaling modes. This two way radio series includes MDC-1200 encode/decode along with both 2-tone and 5-tone encode/decode providing selective radio calling and efficiency in supporting a variety of discrete communication needs. This radio is built tough! The VX-450 Series is a great radio choice for industry, construction, manufacturing, mining, facility management or government ops. It meets IP57 standards for dust and water protection and is submersible in fresh water to 3 feet for up to 30 minutes.
