These filter strainers are made for the optimization of honey or nut milk filtration. 400 micron material is perfect for filtering wax and other particulates from these liquids.

These filters are constructed of multi-filament polyester that will not absorb any honey. 400 micron material may cause a slower filtration but will take out more particles to give a cleaner honey.
The opening is made with an elastic band (no strings to try to tie) that will stretch to fit snugly around the opening of a 5 gallon pail so the filter will not fall in to the bucket.
Designed for a 5 gallon bucket, each bag measures 12 inches (30.48cms) long x 14 inches (35.56cms) at its widest when not stretched. When stretched to fit inside a 5 gallon pail, the opening will be 18 inches (45.72cms).
The bags are sown with external stitching so that rinsing is made easier. These bags can be washed in warm water but do not boil.
