Tape features a specially formulated, very high tack adhesive. Works for semi-rough to smooth surfaces, clean removal 7-21 days. PULL SLOWLY: This tape is SO STICKY that it ships with wax rings between the rolls and will shred if you go too fast. If this tape does not stick to your surfaces, NOTHING ELSE will either, so you will need to prepare them better or rethink your project!
Works well on drywall, glass, hardwood floors, wood trim, and a variety of surfaces. Most typical use is light LATEX work or fine spray paint jobs, window or delicate surface masking, color coding, bundling, labeling, and decorating applications.
Very Important: Surfaces must be very clean, dust free, greaseless, and dry before applying. While the backing of the tape is moisture resistant the adhesive is definitely not. Make sure you press it firmly in place after application. Apply at room temperature or above. The dryer and warmer the installation, the better the adhesion (less bleed). REMOVE ASAP after painting! (always pull gently, slowly, and an angle AWAY from painted edges) Masking tape is known as a semi-permanent removable, it sticks stronger every day. Rolled or brushed paint jobs require much sooner removal than sprayed. Removal time means BEFORE painting NOT after!!
Masking Tape is not for everything! May not play well with oil based paints, lacquers, etc. You must be willing to experiment, and there are 100's of kinds of tape for a reason. Tape is not a miracle worker, you must have common sense and awareness of every Tape's limitations and operating parameters.
