This vent shroud is designed to be directly mounted to 120mm cooling fans, as found on the AntMiner miner models S15, T15, X3, E3, S9, T9, L3, D3, A3 and others. Mounting the shroud to your AntMiner allows you to ventilate or cool your miner with a standard 4 inch dryer vent duct. Removing hot air from your AntMiners environment is one of the most important and easiest ways to keep your mining equipment cool and operating efficiently! This shroud will mount to your AntMiner with the existing screws. There is no need to purchase longer screws as required with other shrouds. This shroud also includes ridges on the 4" inch connection port to ensure proper clamping of exhaust hoses to prevent leaking and hoses being accidentally detached. These ridges are not present on other shroud models available. This shroud can be used as an intake to direct cooler external air to your miner or as an exhaust to remove the hot air from our miner to another area. Our shrouds are made from high temperature resistant injection molded ABS plastic that can withstand temperatures up to 221 degrees F (105 degrees C)! BEWARE listings that do not specify ABS plastic! Competitors use PLA plastic that will begin to melt and deform at 140 degrees F (60 degrees C)! We have observed miners increasing intake air temperature by over 40 degrees F! These temperatures can easily deform PLA printed shrouds causing exhaust blockages and over-heating! Don't risk your expensive equipment with inferior products!
