The lights are wonderful and not distracting. You can indulge in your game and work under the soft lights. There is an option to turn off light.( NOTE: The led light is not so bright in the bright environment) On the Fly Adjustable DPI
On the top of the mouse, below the scroll wheel, there is a small button. It is a DPI button. This is how fast your mouse pointer will be moving. You can go Faster or Slower, with 3 options: 1000-1600-2400DPI. High DPI helps a lot when playing games casually or using design or productivity software.
