The devices is activated by the PIR motion sensor, it turns on the flashing red light, warning sound and ultrasonic sound to chase unwelcome small animal out of your lawn or garden. If the animal just stays without moving, the device will not activate. So find out the route that cats, dogs, mice, foxes, squirrels would more likely to appear, then install and turn on to start deterring. Place it at sunny place to charge the battery for a day before using.
