Why Are One or Two Mice a Problem?

What Can I Do to Get Rid of Mice in My Home Safely?
Using a live trap for the capture and removal of mice is a humane alternative to setting snapping traps or applying toxic rodenticides.
(1)To bait trap, spread peanut butter on a cracker and place it at the bait box of the trap opposite the door. HINT: To help attract mouse to trap, spread a very thin layer of peanut butter on the swinging door - wipe of any excess so peanut scent remains
(2)Place trap along wall or in area where mouse droppings are prevalent. To release the mouse, take the Mouse outside and release the mouse.
(3)If mouse has expired in trap, you may dispose of it in a refuse container without ever touching the mouse!

Where Should I Put Mouse Traps?
Traps should be placed where the mice are. If you have found any signs of mice - shredded paper or cloth, droppings, urine stains, gnawed items - place the traps in those areas. Traps are available from home and garden stores or even some grocery stores. Many can be reused, while others are intended to hide the trapped mouse from view and be used only once.
