The Etching Tool by Chomas Creations sits in the BLADE Holder in the machines and locks right into place per machine instructions. It can be used to engrave and/or etch many materials, including acrylic, plastic, glass (if your machine allows this), metal (copper, bronze, silver, aluminum...), metal clay, leather, and some papers. Although this tool will etch or engrave on Stainless Steel/Steel, the electronic cutting machines themselves do not provide enough pressure to do so. Any material used with this tool should sit on the machine's mat and fit under the machine's rollers. Ensure the machine you use can accommodate the media you desire before committing to specific media use. Note before you order: This tool does NOT FIT in any other machine than than those listed.
