Kanthal A-1 is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) rated for use at temperatures up to 1400°C (2550°F). The alloy has high resistivity and great oxidation resistance. WARNING! DO NOT EXCESSIVELY DRY FIRE / DRY BURN WIRE. Safe for use with temperature controled devices. Not recommended for use with mechanical devices.
- Diameter: 34 Gauge / 0.16mm. For use as a resistor in DIY electronics or for craft wire projects. Resistance: 21.1 Ohms/ft at room temperature.
- Shape: Round
- Ferritic Iron-Chromium-Aluminum (FeCrAl), Annealed (soft), Round with a melting temperature of 2730°F/1500°C and a max operating temperature of 2550°F/1400°C.
- 100 Feet each of available in (22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34 and 36AWG). Each spool has a 2.25" (5.5cm) Diameter and 0.75" (2cm) thickness to maintain the discreet and minimalistic dispenser box. Color spool may either be white or black.
