The KastKing Speed Demon Pro bait caster also utilizes a unique2 piece split main shaft that gently cradles the spool on both ends with high speed, shielded bearings. This design increases casting distance and reduces gear noise over traditional 1 piece main shafts that run through the center of the spool and apply drag to the spool.
