Create perfectly placed and routed picture-hanging t-slot recesses with the POWERTEC 71120 Picture Hanging Keyhole Template. Our handy 3” x 9” template features three precut slots; one long slot (6-1/8”) that is often used for making horizontal slots for horizontal picture placement, and two shorter slots (1-7/8” each) that are ideal for cutting symmetrical slots on both sides of a frame. Each slot profile includes a wood chip vent to prevent routing debris build-up. Typically, the template is used in conjunction with a plunge router, a 5/8” short shank guide bushing and nut combo, and a 3/8” long hanger bit.
