Description Want to upgrade you Brew system and make life easy? Replaced ever hose connections with a Quick disconnect. They feel great going on and off, and it make things very interchangeable for cleaning purposes, and quick installation and removal too. A must have for any Good looking Brew System. Quick disconnects are (as the name would imply) connectors that can be connected and disconnected quickly. Ours seal very well and support liquid flow in either direction. Female and male ends are used to form a locking seal. The male end is simply a post with a locking groove in it while the female end comes with a spring loaded cover (that must be pulled back when connecting/disconnecting), ball bearings that lock into the male groove, and a food grade o-ring that creates the seal. Usage 1/2'' Barb Female Disconnect: For use in typical brewing applications, this connection will hold pressure when moving liquids at 60 PSI or less 1/2" Male Disconnect: Easy on and easy off. When moving liquids at 60 PSI or less these disconnects will work quite well in a typical brewing system.
