The IRON APE Figure 8 double loop Deadlifting Straps have been designed with function over form in mind. This style of strap locks your hands firmly onto the bar, so you can fully concentrate on the pull, without worrying about your grip.
The Figure 8 design is much quicker to get set up than the traditional style lifting straps - no more worrying about wrapping the strap around the bar multiple times, then having to wind the tension up. Just slip one hand through one half of the strap, pass the other end under the bar, then pass your hand through the other half. Now LIFT.
The IRON APE design is more comfortable than some alternative designs, such as hook grips/straps. This is because with our straps, your hand is still in contact with the bar while lifting. You do not have an extra, unwanted layer, or anything that you have to carefully place your fingers around before lifting.
