The blend door actuator controls the flow or temperature of air into the interior vehicle. This part commonly fails on popular models of Ford Expedition, Explorer & Lincoln Navigator and they usually produce a clicking or popping sound during operation and result in incorrect AC or heater temperatures inside the vehicle. This blend door actuator is located inside the rear right panel of your vehicle and can be installed easily by removing the panel housing with no special tools required.
Please check the part you are replacing and make sure that it is the Cross Shaped Shaft and not the D-Shaped Shaft actuator
