An interesting version of Zaatar that includes garlic. This unique combination is great for cooking with the zaatar. Zaatar has many different spellings and versions: za'atar, za atar, zatar, zahatar and so on, but they all mean the same thing and every authentic real zaatar will have hyssop and sumac. A lot of vendors use thyme and oregano as an attempt to duplicate the blend, but that doesn't include all the health benefits associated with the zaatar that are mainly in the hyssop.
