Predator Dock Lines are double braided navy nylon dock lines that are softer and easier to handle, cleat and coil and are over 15% stronger than comparable three strand mooring lines. Nylon is considered superior to other types because of its shock absorbing properties. Suitable for securing boats to marinas, wharves, boat ramps, piles etc. 

What size dock line? The length, size, weight and type of boat, and just how exposed the docking location is, all need to be considered in choosing a dock line size. The following is a general guide, but windy or higher wave locations may require more heavier lines:

Up to 27' (8.2m) 3/8in (10mm) 

28'-31' (8.5-9.4m) 7/16in (11mm) 

32'-36' (9.7-11m) 1/2in (13mm) 

37'-45' (11.3-13.7m) 5/8in (16mm) 

46'-54' (14-16.5m) 3/4in (19mm) 

55'-63- (16.8-19.2m) 7/8in (22mm)
