Introduction 

The fence tester is designed for measuring pulse voltages on the electric fences.

It features Smart Power technology so that it will turn on at the detection of a pulse and turn off after about 4 seconds when no pulse is detected. This technology saves battery power and ensures that the fence tester is turned off when not in use.

Warning

1. Remove the test hook from fence and any conductor before you open the battery cover or the case.

2. Do not operate the fence tester with the battery cover or portion of the case removed or loosened.

3. To avoid electric shock, do not touch any conductor with hand or skin.

4. When using the probe, keep your finger behind the finger guard.

5. Do not ground yourself while using the fence tester. 

6. Do not use the fence tester to measure an electric fence which may cause injury to human being in case of electric shock.

7. Do not operate the fence tester around explosive gas, vapor or dust.

8. It is recommended to verify the fence tester's operation by measuring a known electric fence before you use the fence tester.

9. Do not use the fence tester for any measurement if it operates abnormally.
