The AlveyTech petcock fuel valve with an M10-1.0 thread for an 80cc 2-stroke bicycle engine kit is the small valve that controls the flow of fuel from the tank to the carburetor. The petcock is sometimes called a gas tank switch, gas switch, or fuel switch.

This little On/Off all-metal ball valve is used with 3/16" (5 mm) internal diameter fuel hose, and connects to the fuel tank by way of an M10-1.0 thread. There is also a filter screen to keep the dirt, rust flecks, and other fuel tank crud from getting up into your carb.
