This is an international version from TAIWAN that contains Chinese characters on the packaging. For software settings, sellers will include a step-by-step instruction guide on how to change the language and set up voice/data connections to work with US carriers. Please note that this product is ONLY compatible with GSM networks (AT&T and T-Mobile etc.) and is NOT compatible with CDMA networks (Sprint, Verizon and US Cellular etc.). 

Note that manufacturers may not honor warranty for international cell phones. As such, the serial/IMEI may not be correctly recognized by your local carrier or manufacturer.
