It can catch one gopher at a time & requires no winding, batteries or maintenance. To deploy find the gopher tunnel in the yd & dig out the center of the mound. Place the trap opening in line with the gopher tunnel. Place a few handfuls of dirt inside the trap. Set the spring by pushing the bar down until it latches & then mound dirt around the outside of the trap for stability. Make sure to leave the small opening end of the trap uncovered. Since gophers like darkness they will attempt to stuff dirt inside the trap to eliminate the light. As it pushes dirt into the trap the mechanism will spring & it will eliminate the gopher. Rugged plastic & weather resistant construction means this trap can be used over & over again for years of repeat use. Trap is non toxic & requires no poison, baits, or harmful chemicals.
