The MixPre-6 features Sound Devices' Kashmir microphone preamps. These high-performance, ultra-low-noise, discrete, Class-A mic preamps - hand-crafted by Sound Devices - feature a -130dBV noise floor, analog limiters, and new 32-bit A-to-D converters to ensure the highest quality audio recordings.
Powerful USB and Recording
The versatile MixPre-6 makes an excellent USB audio interface, offering the unique ability to record audio to an SD card while simultaneously streaming multiple channels of audio via USB (8-in/4-out).
Ultra-Compact, Intuitive Design
The pocket-sized, rugged stature of the MixPre-6 will fit any production environment. It features a responsive capacitive touch screen for intuitive operation, a sunlight-readable color LCD, and standard (1/4-inch, 20-thread) mounts compatible with most tripods and cameras, plus a timecode reader (with record triggering) for easier audio/video synchronization in post.
