How to pair the remote with Apple TV?
1. Reboot your Apple TV and position the Siri Remote so it's within 3 to 4 inches (8 to 10 cm) and pointing at the front of Apple TV.
2.Then press and hold the "Menu" button and the "+" button for 5 seconds. When the Siri Remote is successfully paired, an onscreen message appears.
3.You can pair the Siri Remote with only one Apple TV at a time. When you pair a remote, any other paired remote is automatically unpaired.
How to charge the Apple TV remote?
The Apple TV remote can be charged by any 7pin Lightning cable.
It is recommended that you charge the new Apple TV remote 1-2 hours before matching.

1. Unplug your Apple TV from the wall power outlet. Wait at least six seconds, then plug it back in.
2. Charge your Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote for 30 minutes using a Lightning to USB cable and a USB wall charger.
3. Point your remote three inches away from your Apple TV. Then press and hold your remote's Menu and + buttons for more time. If asked, place your remote closer to Apple TV to complete pairing.
