Q 1: Can you take a hot baking dish straight from the oven and put it in the bag w/o melting the lining? A 1: We recommend you rest the baking dish on the counter for a minutes and wrap the dish with a kitchen towel before putting it in the carrier.Q 2: Can you put a hot dish on top and cold one on bottom or vice versa? A 2: Yes, you can. Just remember if you put a icy cold dish on the bottom, it may affect the temperature of the hot dish on top.Q 3: What are the exterior, interior and expanded vs collapsible dimensions?A 3: Exterior dimensions when the two layers are expanded: 16" L x 10" W x 7.5" H; the same when collapsible: 16" L x 10" W x 5" H; interior dimensions for the top and bottom compartments (respectively): 16" L x 10" W x 3.5" HQ 4: What size of baking dish will this hold?A 4: It can hold two 9 x 13 baking dishes with handles up to 1.5" long on each side. If your dishes are different in size or shape, just make sure the total dimensions stay within 16" L x 10" W x 3.5" H for each layer.Q 5: How long does food stay warm or cold?A 5: It depends on the starting temperature of the food and the ambient temperature (such as in the car & outside) as well as the distance you'd be traveling. It's a good idea to add a cold or hot pack inside of the carrier to help retain the temperature.Q 6: Should you cover the casserole dish with a lid or wrap with foil?A 6: Most definitely. If the lid fits into the bag, use the lid. Otherwise wrap the dish tight with foil to make sure it doesn't leak during transport.Q 7: Materials and Construction of the Carrier?A 7: Made from premium polyester on the outsider and thermal foam insulation on the inside with lining. Three compartments: Top utensil pocket & two layers for baking dishes with two handles wrapped on top for easy transport.Q 8: Is it machine washable?A 8: No, we suggest spot clean with a damp cloth only.
