- Rocket Straps Ratchet Straps Directions: 1.) Determine the length of the strap needed to secure the load. It should be long enough to reach around the load and allow for proper tension, but not so long that it becomes tangled or excess strap hangs loose.
- 2.) Begin by attaching one end of the strap to the anchor point on the load. This could be a hook, a D-ring, or some other type of securing point.
- 3.) Take the other end of the strap and thread it through the ratchet mechanism. Make sure the strap is seated properly in the mechanism, with the teeth of the strap engaged in the gears of the ratchet.
- 4.) Pull the strap tight and hold it in place while you operate the ratchet handle. Turn the handle clockwise to tension the strap and secure the load.
- 5.) Once the load is secure, use the lever on the ratchet mechanism to release the tension on the strap. This will allow you to remove the strap without having to fully loosen it. 6.)
