The Shampoo Bar & Conditioner Bar; PEPPERMINT, from Whiff Botanicals are made from just four basic ingredients and Peppermint essential oil. Most commercial shampoos contain more than 20 ingredients, most of which aren't commonly known (and a few that should make you think twice about using them!). First, sodium coco sulfate is an alkaline foaming agent that leaves hair feeling clean without a waxy or oily residue. It makes a luxurious foam, doesn't penetrate skin like other sulfates (LSL), - it just attracts dirt and oil and helps wash them down the drain. Your shampoo bar generates a surprising amount a foam with just a few swipes of the bar through your hands or hair. A little goes a long way, which is why you can get more than 80 shampoos with this concentrated formula. Second, the shampoo bar & conditioner bar have three great natural oils: hemp seed oil, cocoa butter, and coconut oil. Hemp seed oil is pressed from the cannabis seed, but there's no THC in this oil, just naturally occurring vitamins like vitamin A, C, and E which are great for hair and skin. Cocoa butter helps control frizz - some people even use it raw as a pomade! It's a super moisturizer that leaves hair naturally shiny and soft. Coconut oil is the base for this shampoo because its full of fatty acids and vitamins that strengthen, moisturize, and make for healthy, full-bodied hair, D-Panthenol - a provitamin B5, for elasticity, moisture retention & flexibility. The conditioner bar has an added red raspberry oil for UVA, UVB protection, vitamin A, Jojoba oil is great for moisturizing the scalp, helps with dandruff, rich in vitamins C, B, E, copper, and zinc.
