People tend to confuse the term "travel adapter" and "travel converter" but these are not the same thing.

The Compass Rose Travel Adapter IS NOT a voltage converter and neither are similar devices claiming to be "converters", which can damage your electronics (if they are not dual voltage 120V-220V).

If your device isn't dual voltage, you will need an adapter AND a converter to use it in certain countries, which we don't recommend. Converters are large, heavy, and unnecessary as many new electronics are dual voltage.
