Only need 4 steps to drill what you want:
Step 1 - Unscrew the head and insert the required collet.
Step 2 - Half tighten the chuck, then insert your drill bit or other device into the collet jaws.
Step 3 - Fully tighten the chuck head to secure the drill bit.
Step 4 - Place the palm of your hand over the top of the handle and use your finger tips to turn the central portion of the pin vise.

Warm Tips:
1 - Please notice that the pin vise is a manual tool instead of a power tool.
2 - The twist drill bits can't be applied to drill in material as hard as steel, iron and stone.
3 - Depending on the surface of the material, it may be useful to use a bradawl to mark the place where you intend to drill.
