The lightweight BENCHMARK FR arc and flame-resistant Sol Shade hard hat liner is designed to keep the heat and sun off your neck and ears. The Inherent FR material is soft and flexible, designed to keep you cool and comfortable. It's important to note that this is not a stiff heavy rag like the others, the Sol Shade is a super soft, skin safe material that does not add bulk to the hard hat.

The Sol Shade has a unique stretchable channel that attaches to the brim of common full brim, front, cap style hard hats. The super lightweight inherently flame-retardant material drapes around the back of your neck and ears. It is common for people soak it in water for added cooling effect while others put it on the hard hat and forget its there. One size fits most hard hats.

The Sol Shade also provides HRC/ARC Level 1 protection, has an ARC Rating (EBT) = 6.4 cal/sq-cm, is NFPA 70E compliant and meets ASTM F1506.

Our SkinSafe fabric means that you can sweat while wearing it and not have to worry about it irritating your skin. We also stand behind our products. Your Sol Shade (or any of our products) will never lose its flame-resistant properties - EVER! Finally, if your FR Sol Shade gets ripped, torn or otherwise damaged, we will repair or replace it free of charge - FOREVER! The only thing we can't replace against is loss so don't throw it away.
