If you've worked with classic powder cake lace you know that every batch is an adventure, and not one that always ends happily. Typically it takes longer to mix properly than it does to use, and that was still no guarantee that it would adhere well to the mat you had selected. Well, those problems are history, thanks to Smart Lace by Madame Loulou! Firstly, set up time is mere seconds, just open and use. Secondly, it was formulated to work with any silicone mat, no matter how much you paid for it. Simply spread the Smart Lace over the mat, return any excess to the container and let dry, and it's done. You won't even need to hold your breath as you are removing it from the mold! It works, every time, removing the limits that lace decor had presented to your creativity. Speaking of creativity, why not go wild without a silicone mold? Spread some on a silicone mat, and once it has dried you have a totally pliable "sugar sheet fabric" that you can use to cut out doll clothes or to make a shimmering water feature for your competition cake. But why stop there, just add some Smart Lace to a piping bag and get really creative. Use your tools to modify your designs or make them extra shear, and once they have dried apply them however and wherever you like. And, they are completely edible!
