This float valve is designed to easily thread into a 1/2" national pipe thread (NPT) threaded female connection. Same basic principle as your flush toilet - fills when below level, stops when at level. It is perfect for water trough, humidifier, fountain, aquarium, pond, livestock water tanks, etc, saving you a lot of time and effort!
