This physical therapy inclinometer's standards are codified in the AMA Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, third edition.

SenseAid takes great pride in ensuring you always get a tool that doesn't leak and provides accurate measurements. We have made a durable inclinometer that comes with instructions on how to measure the range of motion of various body parts.

To use, place the inclinometer near the joint you desire to measure. Set the spinning dial to 0 degrees at the natural position to set the baseline. Move the joint through its range of motion while keeping the Senseaid inclinometer held in place on the body. Read the dial to see angle of change for each joint you wish to measure. Some joints require two inclinometers to accurately get a measurement.
