It will fit most single and regular dual-layer cases (for example - Apple leather case, Otterbox Commuter/Symmetry, Speck Candyshell, all Spigen cases), but it cannot accommodate thicker cases like battery cases or the Otterbox Defender or Lifeproof case. It will be too large for the bare iPhone XR by itself without a case on it.
