Hold down the MIN and SEC buttons until the timer displays 0:00:00 to reset to zero when in timer mode. Remember the timer needs to stop counting before resetting.

Hold down the START/STOP button until digits start flashing to set the clock in clock mode and to set the alarm in alarm mode. Remember to press the START/STOP button in alarm mode to make sure the alarm icon is on.

It can be used for exercise, sports and a variety of activities such as for cooking as a cooking timer (timers for cooking), classroom timer (timers for teachers) and a timer for kids activities.
CLOCK MODE – Clock mode on this Solar Galaxy countdown clock can be used as a 12-hour clock or a 24-hour clock. You can switch between the 12-hour clock and 24-hour clock by pressing the Start/Stop button. For the 12-hour format on this Solar Galaxy magnetic timer a PM icon will appear on the LCD screen when the Solar Galaxy visual timer reaches noon time.
ALARM MODE – These Solar Galaxy kitchen timers also have an alarm mode which most other digital timers do not. Press the MODE button until the display shows the word AL and proceed to set your alarm time. Then press the START/STOP button to enable the alarm function. To disable the alarm function, press the START/STOP button and the alarm icon will disappear.
MAGNETIC BACKING WITH RETRACTABLE STAND AND HOOK – This Solar Galaxy magnetic kitchen timer can be used as a hook to hang anywhere you like. It can be used on table surfaces by pulling out the retractable stand. Also, the magnet at the back of this Solar Galaxy clock timer can used to be put on the refrigerator.
