1. What is the type of Da Hong Pao Tea?
Da Hong Pao (or Big Red Robe in English) is Wuyi Rock Tea and it is heavily oxidized, dark oolong tea.
2. Both oolong tea, what is the difference between Da Hong Pao and Tie Guan Yin?
Both grown in Fujian province, Dahongpao is a Minbei (North Fujian) Oolong Tea, dried tea leaves with stripe form, while Tie Guan Yin is a Minnan (South Fujian) oolong tea, dried tea leaves curly and tightly rolled.
Dahongpao tea has a heavily fermentation degree (30%-60%) and with charcoal roasted process, more towards black tea, while tieguanyin tea has a lightly fermentation degree (15%-40%), more towards green tea.
3、How many times can this tea be steeped?
A knack of steeping da hong pao tea is quickly to get tea soup, usually 15-30 seconds for the 1st-3rd steeping, and add steeping time stepwise for the following steeping, it can easily be steeped 5-8 times.

5. How should I store my tea?
Tea does not necessarily spoil, but it does lose its freshness gradually over time. The package of our tea is with food safe zip lock design, after brewing do make zip lock and put the package in a cool, dry, and dark place, in general, you can preserve the freshness of your tea by minimizing exposure to heat, light, air, and moisture.
Also, we would recommend consuming this tea within four months of first opening the package.
