These straws are made from a plant-based plastic called PLA, and while it's not recommended for home composting, it is rated for complete biodegradation in a commercial facility in 2-3 months. To ensure optimal durability, please store your straws in a cool, dry location away from heat and sunlight, and use them within four months of purchase.
