This double sided magnet is our strongest and heaviest. Weighing over 9.5 lbs, it is not for the beginner! This magnet was specifically designed with magnet fishing in mind. You won't have to worry which way the magnet is oriented under water since each side provides up to 1,800lbs of pulling force. The new design provides more versatility by allowing it to be used as a double sided, or single sided magnet. The eyebolt can screw into the side of the casing, or through the magnet face. Using this magnet in the single sided configuration will provide a stronger hold since the user is pulling perpendicular to the target.

Includes two M10 eyelets. This magnet is made with A3 steel plate and coated with Nickel-Copper-Nickel to be the strongest and most durable type of permanent magnet available.

Please note that holding power of 3,600 lbs is a combined maximum weight between the two magnets. Each side will produce around 1,800 lbs of pulling force.

Includes 6ml bottle of thread locker to keep the eyebolt from backing out.

HOW THE PULLING FORCE IS TESTED: At Brute Magnetics, samples from every production run are tested to insure that pull strength meets or exceeds our stated values. Forces are determined at room temperature attached to a ½ inch thick plate of (A36) polished steel. The pull force is applied perpendicular to the face of the plate to test its breakaway strength. Depending on the object to which the magnet attaches (thickness, condition, rusted or oddly shaped items) which do not allow for a firm bond, strength may be reduced.

NOTE: This magnet was previously sold with an under-represented pull force of 3600 lbs. No changes have been made to the magnet. Packaging may still reflect under-represented pull force.
