- The Rathburn Stretcher: This Rathburn Ring Stretcher is made from hardened stainless steel. It consists of three parts: A Tapered Pin expander, collet multi-stepped Mandrel, and one nylon die
- Features: This handy-sized Ring Stretcher allows you to quickly and efficiently stretch & enlarge rings and bands. It is lightweight and portable so you can work easily anywhere around the world.
- Function: First place the ring on the stepped collet, choose the size that the rings fit onto and then place the expansion collet on the base. Then insert the tapered pin rod and gently tap the top with a hammer. The mandrel can be removed by simply wiping the opposite end.
- Usage: It is used for stretching all soft precious metals such as silver, gold, copper, etc. Great for carpentry, construction, engineering, jewelry & shaping metal.
- Sizes & Dimension: This Rathburn stretcher tool's ring size capacity is 6 or larger, and dimensions with rod in base: approximately 6-1/2".
- ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️𝐏𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!:Use only for smooth solid rings with a maximum width of 10 mm. Do not use for rings with stones or very thin rings. Slide the ring onto the stepped collet. Insert the tapered pin. Apply a few very light blows with a hammer. Remove the tapered pin and only then remove the ring by twisting the mandrel. this tool fixture will not expand more than 1 finger size ⚠️⚠️⚠️
