Steps to replace-

1) open lift gate

2) loosen and remove the 3 T-27 torx screws. Support the latch with one hand when you remove the screws.

3) pull the latch out of the door and unplug the the electrical connection.

4) position the new latch into the opening and connect the electrical connection.

5) install the 3 T-27 torx screws.

6) press the button and watch the lift gate close
