The extensions are made from heat-treated Chrome Vanadium steel with a Black Oxide coating, and the adapters and reducers are made from high-strength, premium Chrome Moly steel with a corrosion-resistant Manganese Phosphate coating, so you know this set is made to last. With spring-loaded detent balls to securely latch sockets and through-holes in the drive ends of the adapters and reducers to lock onto the drive tang, you can be confident in the perfect fit.
