The Z-Wave Plus ZWN-RSM2-PLUS is the latest innovation in home automation technology. The ZWN-RSM2-PLUS can be installed behind an ON/OFF switch so the load (light/fan) can be remotely turned ON/OFF from your mobile device's Z-Wave app from anywhere you have internet connection. Any Z-Wave enabled device can be added to the network, making those connected remotely controllable. Z-Wave Plus is a powerful and secured communication channel for home automation and the ZWN-RSM2-PLUS uses that technology to turn your standard device such as a ceiling fan into a modern day IoT appliance. Z-Wave Plus also provides longer battery life, faster operation, better RF coverage and easier installation than its predecessors. The ZWN-RSM2-PLUS Dual Relay Switch Module can be used in lighting control or used to operate small appliances up to 10 Amps. It can be installed onto existing switches, receptacles, or in the electrical box where the appliance is connected (such as the ceiling box where the ceiling fan is connected). This dual relay is also a signal repeater which can extend the range of your Z-Wave network up to 100ft. A Z-Wave hub is required to control this device. *NOTE: Honeywell Panel doesn't support two-relay wiring, make sure hub has multi-channel support*
