The Firebird pre-cut pinewood derby car body is made from an official BSA pinewood derby car block so it meets all pinewood derby specifications: 7" long x 1.75" wide x 1.25" high. Just do a little sanding, paint and decorate. You will need to add you own wheels, axles, and weights of your choice (sold separately) to complete your car. We did the hard part of cutting and shaping the block for you. We even drilled two 3/8" weight holes in the rear of the Mustang so you can add cylinder weights and hide them inside the car body. This car body will weigh 2 oz +/- 0.5oz. You will need from 1.5 to 2.5 oz of weight to bring it up to the 5 oz limit. Weights, wheels, axles and paint sold separately.
