- Lack of Power - The longer the cable, the more resistance and power loss, and hence requires more power from power supply. Most commercial products do not provide a strong power adapter. At 16ft length, the power loss is noticeable. Please make sure you have adequate power supply to use extension cable，Make sure that the power adapter can supply enough power over the extension cable. From 16ft and up the resistance and the drop off in power may become noticeable.
