To achieve best results
(1) Soak plug in water or mild nutrient to re-hydrate, then place cutting or seed in plug's center hole
(2) Pour about 16oz of water in tray every 2-3 days
(3) Place all cuttings in and provide good lighting
(4) When roots appear, plug is ready for transplant
